Description

The beautiful terrazzo of I Limoni is the heart of the house: a suspended flowery garden viewing directly over the little port of Marina della Lobra with complete views of the bay of Naples. A fringed gazebo with large circular table and soft lighting provides an elegant setting for dinners al fresco. The large swing with further seating arrangement and a covered section with reading table, outside the master bedroom, complete the outdoors setting. The villetta is cleverly constructed over two levels, connected by an external staircase from the terrace.

The villa is comfortably furnished and has every facility to ensure a relaxing vacation.
The hamlet of S.Maria was in the 1400s the original site of the town of Massa Lubrense and has two 15th century churches, historical buildings, a monastery and a watch tower. To complete the picture, the village has a gorgeous restaurant in the piazza and the best Belvedere (panoramic terrace) of the Peninsula, home to the 17th century Villa Murat.

The whole area is criss-crossed with ancient walking tracks and one can access seven local communities within 40 minutes on foot from this location or drive down beautiful coastal roads to the local swimming spots or beaches, or maybe just relax and enjoy the marvellous close up views of the Isle of Capri in this heavenly location.

I Limone is situated above the small fishing village of Marina della Lobra, and approximately 200 mts from the village of Santa Maria Annunziata.

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of € 500.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras.

Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):

• Mandatory cleaning fees: € 65.00 per week including 3 hours of maid service 2 times, final cleaning on Saturdays and on departure;
• One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €6.00 per change per person;
• Late arrival fees – we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
• Telephone - yes, €0.20 per unit;
• Electricity included;
• Heating (per week if required) - €65.00.

Sorrento

Postcard views of Sorrento often concentrate on the impressive cliffs of volcanic rock (tufa) that run down along the coast in this area and plunge perilously into the sea. These cliffs and the wonderfully rich volcanic soils of the area provide wonderful opportunities for spectacular views from panoramic gardens which feature in this area of Italy.

Nerano

Situated approximately 14 km from Sorrento, the Nerano locality is a primarily agricultural/fishing community which in bygone centuries had little to do with its neighbouring areas. Blessed by a pleasant climate, wonderful outlook and steep sun drenched descent towards the sea it was the enclave of a small number of families who handed down their interests from generation to generation. Even today it is possible to recognise a strong concentration of the family surnames.
