DescriptionThe entrance gate of La Rocca opens to a terrace with a lemon grove which runs along the ground floor level of mainly bedrooms. One level up is a large paved terrace, a garden of delight, adorned with classic style columns supporting thick and vibrant bougainvillea and wisteria pergola. This is the living area and looks out onto large terracotta pots brimming with mature jasmine, palms and colourful geraniums, and expansive views over Positano, the village of Fornillo and its 'presepe'. The well maintained interiors, featuring high vaulted ceilings and terracotta tiles, are furnished with period pieces. Many original paintings and portaits, prints and ceramics give the house a very intimate feeling and an old world atmosphere. Built on three levels with a mezzanine in between, La Rocca enjoys double access: from a typical stairway street and internally from a private garage, a rarity in Positano. It is located in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Amalfi Coast, and the valley opens up to an equally magnificent stretch of coastline. The town is built on steep hills descending to the sea and has been resembled to a wedding cake in terms of its layout and terraces flowing with bougainville vines.

Refundable security depositA refundable security deposit of € 500.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):- Mandatory cleaning fees: € 150.00 per week including 3 hours of maid service twice during the week, final cleaning on Saturdays and on departure;
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
- Late arrival fees – we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

Ravello
Ravello, located on a hilltop high above Amalfi, has forever left a special impression on travellers who visit there. Seeming as though it is a town and a garden at the same time, it provides endless numbers of amazing views along the Amalfi coast and a relaxed village atmosphere to accompany the beautiful gardens and grounds of Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo.
Nerano
Situated approximately 14 km from Sorrento, the Nerano locality is a primarily agricultural/fishing community which in bygone centuries had little to do with its neighbouring areas. Blessed by a pleasant climate, wonderful outlook and steep sun drenched descent towards the sea it was the enclave of a small number of families who handed down their interests from generation to generation. Even today it is possible to recognise a strong concentration of the family surnames.
