Description

This comfortable Amalfi Coast house can be accessed through a typical covered patio, which leads directly into the living room. The cool interiors, with marble floors throughout, are simply but tastefully furnished, offering a comfortable and homely holiday accommodation.

Casa Lorenza covers the entire top floor of a two-storey building. It is easily reachable on foot from the road down a 50 m footpath and a flight of 25 steps which leads you on to the internal court yard. Decorated with terracotta pot plants and well equipped with sun loungers, marble topped dining table and wrought iron chairs, outdoor shower and barbecue, the patio is perfect for dining “al-fresco”. The roof top terrace above offers unobstructed views of the magnificent Amalfi Coast and of the incredibly azure sea, while the bedrooms, all with sea views, and the sitting room open out to the front of the house, facing the sea.

Distances:

• Bus stop (50 metres) for shuttle bus which connects Praiano to Positano (7 km) and to small sandy beach called “La Praia” which is locally renowned for its excellent fish restaurants. This service operates from April to end of October. A choice of cafés and restaurants starts at about 1.5 km along the main coastal road.
• The nearest grocery shops are about 150 metres up the hill, while a short walk (400 metres) down the hill brings you to the bus stop for long distance buses (SITA BUS)
• Amalfi (12 Km), Positano (9 Km) and Sorrento (18 km). In season (April – October), boats and hydrofoils ferry between Salerno, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, the islands of Capri and Ischia and the city of Naples, all easily reached for pleasant days out.

Praiano is set in an enchanting location among the beautiful inlets of the Amalfi coast at 4 km from Positano and 9 km from Amalfi. Once an ancient fishing village and today a prestigious seaside resort, Praiano is know for its fine climate and authentic atmosphere. Praiano's beach, the enchanting Marina di Praia, is below the town at the end of the untamed Praia valley. In Praiano you will not find tourist crowds, nor colourful streets full of shops and boutiques, but only authentic locals with friendly faces, old cottages and white churches looking out to the sea.

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of € 500.00 is payable on arrival at the villa. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras.

Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):

• Mandatory cleaning fees: € 160.00 per week including 3 hours of maid service 2 times, final cleaning on Saturdays and on departure; porter service.
  
• One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
• Late arrival fees – we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
• Telephone - not available;
• Electricity consumption is not included in villa rental and is payable locally at €0.42 per Kw;
• Heating is not available in this property.
