Description

Villa Mila is set out over two accommodation levels, with luminous and welcoming interiors, furnished with comfortable pieces. The entrance is from the main road into a short private driveway, with car port. Nineteen steps lead up to the main floor of the villa, where are the living rooms, kitchen a and a double bedroom with bathroom. The upper level, reached either through the indoor staircase ( 20 steps) or the elevator, houses two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom.

The pool is situated on the upper floor of the villa and five different levels of large terraces and gardens face the sun and the sea .The terraces are decorated with lovely flower pots and some areas are sun-drenched whilst others are shaded by pergolas, trees or awnings.

Every angle of the villa allows guests to admire breathtakingly beautiful views over the Lattari mountains as they plunge into the sea, the villages of Minori and Maiori in picturesque inlets and the splendid expanse of the Mediterranean sea.

Position

The entrance to Villa Milu is from a secure gate opening off the main Positano to Amalfi road. An uphill driveway leads to a carport where more than two cars can be parked

The nearest (pebble) beach is Castiglione di Ravello at 1.5 km away. This is a picturesque crescent shaped beach, surrounded. To get to the beach, you have to descend from the road a public stairway consisting of approx. 180 stone steps.

Other beaches that can be reached more comfortably, by car or by bus, are at Atrani (1 km), Amalfi ( 2.5 km), Minori (5 km) and Maiori (6 km).

The nearest supermarket is about 2.5 km away. The nearest restaurants, bars, shops, banks, and post office are in Atrani , Amalfi or in Ravello town centre. At approx. 200 meters from the villa, there is the SITA bus stop to Amalfi (10 min) and Ravello (10 min), for which you have to buy the ticket in advance. At the port of Amalfi , ferries and hydrofoils run daily to Capri (1½ h.), Positano (20 min.), Ischia (2½ h) and Salerno (1 h.). The services operate only during high season.

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of €1,500 is payable on arrival at the villa. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras.

Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):

• Final cleaning costs are included in the villa rental amount and include 30 hours of cleaning. Additional cleaning may be requested but will be charged as an extra;
• One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
• Utilities costs (including heating and A/C) are included in the villa rental price;
• Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

• The season for pool opening is - May to October;
• Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
• Boats and bikes hire, food hampers, cooking and many other services mentioned on our booking form can be pre-arranged and prices will be provided on application.

Positano is one of the most elegant and well known villages on the Amalfi coast.
