Description:Villa La Marina is located inside an elegant complex of villas and apartments built on a hill descending to an inlet with a small pebbly beach and a seaside walking track leading to the local Marina della Lobra. This is a quaint fishermen village where you will find bars, sea side restaurants by the sea, a picturesque little port with boat hire and day mini-cruises to Capri and to the Amalfi Coast. In the surrounding villages there are many excellent restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Villa La Marina is tucked between the beach and the perimeter wall of the villa standing above. It features a side balcony running the length of the house with uninterrupted views of the Bay of Naples, while the front patio, equipped for outdoor dining and relaxing, looks straight out to the Isle of Capri and to the Marina. The terrace has direct access to the sea, only 30 meters (about 60 steps) away and the only noises you can hear are those of the sea lapping the shore, the occasional motorboat and the bells of the nearby church. As the road winds out along the coast road from Sorrento, one can tangibly feel that they are leaving the city way of life behind. Local farmers (contadini) with their three wheeled Ape Utes tend the olive plantations that string along the rocky hillsides and every now and again the bushes open up to the stretches of blue sea and sights of Capri and the other islands in the Bay of Naples.

Sorrento
Postcard views of Sorrento often concentrate on the impressive cliffs of volcanic rock (tufa) that run down along the coast in this area and plunge perilously into the sea. These cliffs and the wonderfully rich volcanic soils of the area provide wonderful opportunities for spectacular views from panoramic gardens which feature in this area of Italy.
Sant' Agata
Sant'Agata sui due Golfi enjoys an enviable position on a hill between the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. It is the largest village in the Sorrento Peninsula and boasts a few Michelin starred restaurants (Don Alfonso - Taverna del Capitano) and many other fine restaurants and trattorias in the vicinity. Being half way between Sorrento and Positano, it is a very convenient base from which to explore both the Amalfi and Sorrento Coasts.
