Apartment Glicine, named after the 200 year old wisteria tree that shades the terrazza outside the front door is a wonderful apartment embodying the spirit and history of Casale Marchese. The entry portico into the Casale opens into a large terrazza area shaded by the wisteria tree, and with three antique stone portico windows providing idyllic views over the sea and I Galli islands. An outdoor dining table for the use of the guests of apartment Glicine provides a suggestive environment for alfresco dining or enjoying the atmosphere of this hisoric structure.

The entrance door opens into a kitchen with dining table, featuring old majolica tiles of historical value and a new open kitchen (gas cooktop, oven). A door on the right leads into the spacious master bedroom with built in robes, a desk and windows looking out over the sea. A single bedroom, also with windows overlooking the sea and suitable for a child is accessible only from this bedroom. The bathroom, also restructured has a shower, but no bathtub.

Special Notes for Casale Marchese - Glicine

Periods of less than 7 days can be booked in this apartment in non peak periods.

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of € 250.00 is payable on arrival at the apartments (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras.

Services and extras (in Euros):

• Cleaning fees are included in the rental amount including mid week cleaning with change of linen and final cleaning on departure.
• Additional cleaning of the kitchen can be requested at a cost of €15
• Electricity, gas and water are included in the rental cost (not including airconditioning and heating (see below).
• Heating for 8 hours per day is included in the period December to February. Otherwise it is payable on the basis of energy consumed.
• Airconditioning is available in Apartment Glicine and is charged according to electricity consumption (€0.30/kw).
• A Baby cot and high chair are available at a cost of €10 per day
• Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager.

Other information

• The season for pool opening is mid March to the end of October;
• Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
• Boats and bikes hire, food hampers, cooking and many other services mentioned on our booking form can be pre-arranged and prices will be provided on application.
