Description
Miracapri is a stone built, self contained cottage. Sunny and spacious, solidly built, features exposed timber beams, beautiful cotto tiling and is furnished with a mix of country and period furniture. The open plan living room and dining room enjoy in winter a large fireplace and a dining table for twelve. The front garden, paved in stone with a grassy area, is equipped with a small plunge pool (3x3m), stone barbecue, outdoor table and chairs, sun beds and a shower. Shade is provided by wind – out awnings and by olive and fruit trees which surround the house. A side terrace runs along the two main bedrooms and a roof top solarium offers further outdoor space and amazing views and sunsets - ideal for pre dinner drinks! A small no-through road leads to the house at walking distance from the tiny but compact village of Termini, with all shops facilities: a general store, butcher and chemist, two restaurants, ceramic shop and limoncello workshop. The whole area is heaven for walkers and food lovers: it is crossed by a network of ancient pedestrian tracks, linking every hamlet of the Sorrento Peninsula to old farmhouses, little coves and bays, local restaurants and trattorias. Termini is a jewel at the end of the Sorrento Peninsula which at 300 mts above the sea, faces out to the Bay of Naples and the Isle of Capri. The piazza has a panoramic balcony where one can sit for hours enjoying the fine views of Marina Grande, Tiberius's leap, the Faraglioni and Mount Solaro.

Refundable security depositA refundable security deposit of € 500.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):- Mandatory cleaning fees: € 100.00 per week including 2 hours of maid service twice weekly, final cleaning on Saturdays and on departure;
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
- Late arrival fees – we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
- Electricity is not included and will be charged at Eur 0.40 per Kw.
- Heating: (per week if required) - according to use of electricity

As the road winds out along the coast road from Sorrento, one can tangibly feel that they are leaving the city way of life behind. Local farmers (contadini) with their three wheeled Ape Utes tend the olive plantations that string along the rocky hillsides and every now and again the bushes open up to the stretches of blue sea and sights of Capri and the other islands in the Bay of Naples.

Postcard views of Sorrento often concentrate on the impressive cliffs of volcanic rock (tufa) that run down along the coast in this area and plunge perilously into the sea. These cliffs and the wonderfully rich volcanic soils of the area provide wonderful opportunities for spectacular views from panoramic gardens which feature in this area of Italy.
