DescriptionVilla Nobile is a noble villa set in a tiny hamlet within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The large facade of the villa faces a quiet village street and two large wooden arched gates lead into the private interior of elegant porticos and verdant gardens. Facing the garden a covered portico runs the full length of the villa and provides a wonderful place for alfresco dining and enjoying the fresh breezes on hot afternoons. From the portico it is possible to enter the succession of large sitting rooms, cosy studies and the spectacular dining room that have period features including vaulted ceilings and frescoed walls. The villa can actually accommodate many more than the 10 guests advertised, however the owners have chosen to limit the bedrooms available to five and the bedrooms on the upper floors are closed to guests. The central kitchen on the ground level is well equipped to cater for the full contingent of the villa and the generous living areas available provide ample opportunity to enjoy this remarkable property. The villa has a large and well maintained walled garden with lawns, hedges, large shady trees and lush gardens. The swimming pool is set in the lawn and has a remote-controlled cover for the safety of children. An outdoor annex adjacent to the pool area is ideal for children and is equipped with pingpong, mini soccer and a large barbecue. The villa retains the features of its noble origins and is comfortably furnished to provide elegant but informal holiday accommodation that will suit a diversity of groups from adults travelling together, families or sporting groups.

Desenzano
Lake Garda, whose waters are famed for their transparency, is the largest in Italy and was much loved by Virgil, Catullus and Goethe. The town of Desenzano is the largest and liveliest in the south of Lake Garda; its central picturesque piazza is situated on a cobbled pedestrian walk that winds its way around the contour of the lake, providing a wonderful opportunity to experience the daily passeggiata and inspiring views up the lake. Conveniently close to the main motorway and railway that connects Milan and Venice, it is a great base from which to explore the North of Italy.
Como
Como was made a part of the Roman empire in AD 172 and its long history has left a wonderful collection of reminders of its development: medieval city walls, a circular street structure, buildings and towers from the Renaissance period, a cathedral that took nearly 4 centuries to complete and the unchangeable backdrop of the lake and mountains.
