Description The keyed entrance door from the street leads into a small foyer where an antique well still holds pride of place. A flight of stairs leads up to the first floor entrance door which opens into the small reception anteroom of apartment Prosecco. After the hustle and bustle of central Rome, it's hard to imagine that only a few minutes walk could find an apartment so tranquil and inviting. A large living / dining room furnished with two three seater couches and several arm chairs invites guests to relax and reflect on the beauty of the city and workmanship of this lovely apartment. Several pieces of important art complement the richly panelled timber ceilings and the furniture is elegant and comfortable. Double french doors lead from the living room into a large and bright twin room overlooking the street with ensuite bathroom (shower only). Furnished with a divan, the room could accommodate three children or two adults and a child if requred. From the living room, a small corridor leads to a spacious fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table and opening onto a small balcony over the courtyard. At the end of the corridor is a further double bedroom with small balcony looking over the courtyard and ensuite bathroom (with bath). The narrow street (more a lane) in which Apartment Prosecco is located has little car traffic and is just out off the tourist trail. There are lovely corner bars and quiet trattorias in the mainly local area. The apartment is two minutes walk from Corso Emanuele (buses), the River Tiber or the mercato dei fiori, about 5 minutes stroll to Piazza Navona and 1 km (10 mins) to Vatican city.

Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €155 is payable on arrival at the villa and the preferred method is to place a reserve on your credit card. The reserve will be removed on final inspection excepting in the event of damage and therefore no charge will appear. Supplements Prices are for up to four occupants of the apartment and a supplement of €250 per person is payable for additional guests (maximum 2) at the time of booking. Services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros): - Final cleaning fees are included in the rental amount as are electricity, gas and heating / airconditioning (where provided)
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

Nerano
Situated approximately 14 km from Sorrento, the Nerano locality is a primarily agricultural/fishing community which in bygone centuries had little to do with its neighbouring areas. Blessed by a pleasant climate, wonderful outlook and steep sun drenched descent towards the sea it was the enclave of a small number of families who handed down their interests from generation to generation. Even today it is possible to recognise a strong concentration of the family surnames.
