Located at the northern end of the Cinque Terra, Portovenere is one of Italy's most famous 'post car' villages. Connected to the nearby Cinque Terra by ferry, bus/train or along a walking trail (14km) it is a popular holiday destination for those wishing to do excursions around Tuscany and the Cinque Terra areas.
