Description In wonderful Tuscan style, the ground floor of Villa Elsa is open plan, with wide arches separating the various living spaces. The entrance from a large panoramic terrace with wood fired pizza oven is into a sumptuously decorated reception area, furnished with a desk, waiting chairs and antique sideboards. To the front of the house through an archway is a light filled sitting room with white furniture and a raised open fireplace. Turning left from the reception room, through a further arch, guests enter an open lounge room with large LCD satellite TV, surround sound, DVD and wonderfully comfortable 'poltrona' armchairs. A further arch leads through to the formal dining room (14 places extendible to 26) with decorative windows overlooking the Tuscan fields and a raised Tucan fireplace. In order to cook up a storm, the villa is fitted with a domestic kitchen that would leave most professional chefs feeling well at home - 2 ovens, 8 burner hob, wood fired pizza oven, large pantry, large refrigerator, dishwasher and large preparation table. The modern conveniences blend in perfectly with the antique marble sink, rustic vaulted ceilings and traditional open braccia (charcoal grill). The kitchen also opens onto the large terrace with covered pergola and table to seat 20. A renowned chef is available on request and DIY pizza parties have been popular with past guests (the chef prepares the wood oven, ingredients and provides advice to willing participants. Sleeping accommodation is on the first and second floors where each of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and a central sitting room on each level. All rooms are spacious and decorated in the finest fabrics and antique furniture. Please read the technical description and view the more photos for detail. Photos and description of the fienile are not shown and will be provided on request. Outside the villa, the grounds are maintained at a very high standard. There is an underground carpark and laundry, which is also set up for games including table tennis and darts. The swimming pool has a jacuzzi section with room for 15 people and is set in a lawned area of 2000 sq mt with several large oak trees providing shade for those beautiful Tuscan afternoons and there is a sauna in the change rooms beneath.
