Description A home away from home in the medieval chianti countryside is one way of describing this unique villa. The owners have lovingly restored the original building incorporating all modern conveniences amongst tasteful interior styling. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with satellite TV, sound system and telephone and has an ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower. The internal kitchen is fully equipped with a five burner hob, large oven, microwave oven, dishwasher and even a dedicated ice cube machine of the type usually found in bars. Each of two external pergolas (one in the garden and one at the pool) are also equipped with summer kitchens including sinks, refrigerators and dishwashers for making the most of those lovely tuscan summer evenings. The photos and 'more photos' of this villa speak volumes about the comfort that the owners have created for summer or winter holidays in this wonderful area - they've even included a solarium for winter tanning, six bicycles for exploring the local area, a sauna and cedar hot tub for the enjoyment of guests. We would add, however, that it is a very popular villa, so early booking is essential for peak periods.

Special Notes for Villa del Borgo 2012 prices are provisional and may be revised, however most owners will accept bookings at 2011 prices until the new prices are confirmed. Please send an enquiry and we'll respond with a firm quote. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. The owners include a welcome buffet meal on arrival at the villa at no additional cost. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €500.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally (in Euros): - Prices are inclusive of all taxes;
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person. Cleaning and final cleaning costs are included in the rental price;
- Additional maid service can be requested and costs an additional €15 per hour;
- Telephone - paid locally on the basis of use;
- Electricity - 300 kw included. Excess is payable locally based on metered consumption;
- Heating based on consumption of gas (metered)
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
Other information - The season for pool opening is - June to September;
- Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
- Six mountain bicycles are provided for use by guests
