Description Casa Senese is a portion of an old stone built farmhouse that has been comfortably renovated and split into two dwellings. A long cypress lined driveway leads up to a spacious and well maintained front garden with shady trees, pergolas and well tended garden beds. In the midst of the garden is a large swimming pool (16m x 5m - 1.10/2.40m deep). The other dwelling is inhabited by the owners, a couple with grown up children who both work in Siena and are therefore rarely at home. Whilst welcoming and happy to provide advice to guests, the owners are unobtrusive and rarely seen around the shared swimming pool. The apartment is on the ground floor. It consists of a living/dining room, small alcove kitchen (cookers, fridge/freezer, small oven), a bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a queen size bed and a single bed. It has been lovingly restored in typical Tuscan style and mostly furnished with the owner's antique furniture. At the front of the apartment there is an enclosed private terrace furnished with table and chairs and large umbrella for relaxing and alfresco dining.
Position The farmhouse is located just 600m from the principle Florence - Siena carriageway in nice countryside. A long gravel driveway leads up through olive groves to the farmhouse which is in a scenic hilltop position. Distances: - Shops - 0.5km Uopini (general stores and supplies)

Siena is one of the most beautiful towns of Tuscany and perhaps Italy. Surrounded by olive groves and the vineyards of Chianti the town is set on three hills and is mostly pedenstrian only. At the centre of the town is the large Piazza del Campo, noted for the Palio horse race held each July and August and full of activity year round. An important university town, Siena has wonderful outdoor cafes, piazzas, churches and museums.

Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €150 is payable on arrival at the property. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: - Normal arrival times are between 15:30 (3:30pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Departure is by 9:30 on the day of departure.
- The swimming pool is open from mid May to September;
Services included and extras: - The rental price includes final cleaning costs;
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included. Additional changes may be requested at the cost of €12 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided;
- Electricity and utility costs (except heating, A/C) are included in the property rental price
- Air Conditioning can be requested at an additional cost of €9.00 per day
- Heating, if required, is payable on the basis of consumption of gas (€1.50 per M3);
- High chairs and cots are available at an additional cost of €50 per week
- An additional bed can me added at a cost of €70 per week;
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
