Description Villa San Pietro is set on the base of the hill leading up to Cortona with great views of the village and the Chiana valley. It has a strategic position in a quiet corner of countryside just 5 minutes by car from Cortona and not far from the road that leads to Tuscany, Umbria and elsewhere. The villa is immersed in large gardens and has a lovely view over an ancient villa that had its origins as a watch tower, then monastery during the C13th. The villa is comprised of the main building on three floors, an outdoor dependence and a separate structure with a second kitchen, dining area or entertainment area. This last area is popular for preparing meals that can be enjoyed in the outdoor pergola or around the pool and ensures that late night revellers will not disturb guests wishing to sleep. Furnished in rustic country style, the property is fully air-conditioned and has WiFi access throughout. There are 4 bedrooms and a further walkthrough bedroom, six bathrooms, three livingrooms, two kitchens and a 5m x 10m swimming pool in its hectare of gardens. In addition guests have table tennis, bicycles and the outdoor gazebo available for their use. Please refer to the technical description for a complete description.
Position A small country road leads to the small hamlet of Camiliola. The electrically controlled entrance gates to Villa SanPietro lead off this road into a private parking area of the villa Distances - Cortona - 4km (shops, restaurants, banks, pharmacy)

Special Notes for Villa SanPietro, Cortona, Italy Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €300 is payable on arrival at the property. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: - Normal arrival times are between 16:60 (4pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Departure is by 10:00 on the day of departure.
- The season for pool opening is May to September;
Services included and extras: - Final cleaning is included in the weekly rental amount. Additional cleaning may be requested at an additional cost (POA).
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included. Additional changes may be requested at the cost of €12 per person. Pool towels are provided;
- An ADSL WiFi connection is available and unlimited use is included in the villa rental price
- Electricity consumption is included in the villa rental price
- Heating, if required, is payable on the basis of consumption of gas
- Kitchen gas and water costs are included
- Two high chairs are provided free of charge and a cot is available at an additional cost of € €50 per week;
- Two additional (folding) beds can be added (for a total of 12 people at an additional cost of €70 per week each payable locally;
- Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
- A welcome aperativo is provided on arrival at the villa by the owners
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

Castiglione del Lago
Castiglione del Lago on Lake Trasimeno is a lovely medieval village on a promontory and has a beautiful square and cobbled streets. The old town perches above the lake on a rock promontory inside its preserved walls and is surmounted by a renaissance castle. Boat trips are available daily to Isola Maggiore, and from there to Isola Polvese (a nature reserve) and Passignano sul Trasimeno. Castiglione has attractive free beaches, restaurants, bars and excellent shops, as well as an unrivalled atmosphere. It is a centre for culinary delights. Free parking is available outside the city walls. There are swimming pools nearby and an excellent supermarket on the outskirts of the town.
Siena
Siena is one of the most beautiful towns of Tuscany and perhaps Italy. Surrounded by olive groves and the vineyards of Chianti the town is set on three hills and is mostly pedenstrian only. At the centre of the town is the large Piazza del Campo, noted for the Palio horse race held each July and August and full of activity year round. An important university town, Siena has wonderful outdoor cafes, piazzas, churches and museums.
