Description From the main motorway connecting Rome and Florence the road winds its way through beautiful hills to arrive at the historic small village of Loro Ciuffenna. Divided in two by a deep rivine, the town is connected by numerous bridges which provide thrilling views of the many waterfalls and antique buildings that line the sides. A small pedestrian only lane leads a minute or so from the centre of the village to a small piazza (court) which is the entrance to Dimora Gelsomino. On the ground floor is the reception, and a series of communal areas consisting of a lounge room, TV room, meals room and an outdoor terrace. All of the rooms except the reception have wonderful views over the ravine. The lounge and enetertainment areas are alive with frescoes representing a living story of the hotels heritage as a residence of nobles and centre of local political power in former times. On the first and second levels, there are eight bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms, and two of which are suites comprising living room overlooking the river. The rooms are all serviced daily, have satellite TV, telephone, heating, airconditioning and minibar available. Breakfast is served on the terrace or in the meals area which also looks over the river. There are several characteristic restaurants adjacent to the hotel with a strong orientation to local dishes and Italian (especially Tuscan) wines.
Position The hotel is situated approximately 100m from the centre of Loro Ciuffenna on a small pedestrian only walkway. A public carpark is available at 50m from the hotel. Distances - Arezzo - 29km

Dimora Gelsomino - Standard Dimora Gelsomino's standard rooms (6) are situated on either the first or second floor and each have views over the the piazza at the front or over the river at the rear. The rooms are all different in character and shape, and some are equipped with bath whilst the others have showers.

Dimora Gelsomino - Suite The Junior Suites of Dimora Gelsomino are comfortably furnished with a large double bedroom complete with satellite TV and a living room with large comfortable armchairs, a library and satellite TV. All of the junior suites look over the river and have windows on two sides. The bathrooms of the junior suites are well appointed with hairdryers.
