We were lucky enough to occupy this thoroughly comfortable, first floor apartment on our visit to the Tenuta. Sleeping five guests in 3 bedrooms, the apartment looks out over the countryside and has an independent access from the front terrazzo of the farmhouse. A large table with umbrella in the garden provides a perfect setting for al fresco meals and the swimming pool is located at a lower level and enjoys beautiful views over the surrounding vinyards.

Farmhouse La Lecceta and barn

Rising on a gentle hill that overlooks neat rows of grapevines, the Lecceta farmhouse comprises the main villa divided into 4 apartments that sleep 29 and, 25 metres away, the refurbished barn (Il Pino) providing accommodation for a further 4 guests. Every apartment is comfortably furnished according to the local tradition and is fitted with modern facilities.

All apartments are equipped with air conditioning and heating in all rooms, satellite TV, stereo, telephone, fax, ISDN line and security alarm system. All bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer. Kitchens are fitted with a 4 burner electric cooker, oven, dish washer and refrigerator.

Every apartment has its own outdoor space furnished with garden table and chairs and a sun umbrella. The five Lecceta apartments have a swimming-pool in common (7.5X15, min. depth 120 m/max. 2.60 m) equipped with sun umbrellas, deck chairs and sun beds, and the farmhouse also has a common laundry room with washing machine and tumble-dryer.

Il Tiglio

The front door to this 140 sqm apartment opens from the ground floor terrazzo into a corridor and set of stairs leading up to a reception room with a small divan, sideboard and desk on the first floor. Straight ahead is a large living/dining room a divan, lounge chairs, table for six and kitchenette along one side.

To the left and right of the reception area are bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms, the master bedroom and bathroom being on the right. Up a circular staircase is a further single bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

The apartment is equipped with air-conditioning, heating, IDSN telephone and internet access, fax, satellite TV, four burner cooktiop, electric oven, dishwasher and refrigerator.

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of €300 is payable on arrival at the property (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras.

• The season for pool opening is - 1 May to 30 October ;
• Stays of shorter than one week are possible, and prices per night are one sixth of the weekly fee.
• A supplement of 30% is payable for stays of just one night
