Description Villa Ceraso is situated in a small community approximately 3km from the west coast of Lake Trasimeno in a rural context with lovely views over rolling hills. The property consists of a main villa with 10 bedrooms and a smaller villa divided into four independent one bedroom apartments each with a double bedroom, kitchenette and living room with sofa bed. The beds and furniture are all of an excellent quality in a modern style and the property is spotless. Between the two villas is a large entertainment annex of 400sqm, which comprises a large living area, a large covered and furnished balcony, dining area and professional kitchen. The annex has been constructed out of local timbers and feature exposed beams and all round glass to enhance the spaciousness and feeling of being indoors and outdoors with full climate control. The veranda on the annex enjoys beautiful views across the hills and has been fully furnished for dining and lounging. All of the structures look out over a large lawn with well maintained gardens and a swimming pool (7m x 12m, 1.6-2.5m deep). Catering for such large numbers, guests have the possibility of requesting a full or partial cooking service at very reasonable rates.

Castiglione del Lago on Lake Trasimeno is a lovely medieval village on a promontory and has a beautiful square and cobbled streets. The old town perches above the lake on a rock promontory inside its preserved walls and is surmounted by a renaissance castle. Boat trips are available daily to Isola Maggiore, and from there to Isola Polvese (a nature reserve) and Passignano sul Trasimeno. Castiglione has attractive free beaches, restaurants, bars and excellent shops, as well as an unrivalled atmosphere. It is a centre for culinary delights. Free parking is available outside the city walls. There are swimming pools nearby and an excellent supermarket on the outskirts of the town.

Special Notes for Villa Ceraso, Lake Trasimeno, Italy 2012 prices are provisional and may be revised, however most owners will accept bookings at 2011 prices until the new prices are confirmed. Please send an enquiry and we'll respond with a firm quote. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €2,000 is payable on arrival at the property. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: - Normal arrival times are between 15:30 (3:30pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Departure is by 9:30 on the day of departure.
- The season for pool opening is from May to October;
Services included and extras: - Final cleaning is an extra payable locally in the amount of €400 and not included in weekly rental. Additional daily maid service can be ordered at an additional cost depending on the level of service required (payable locally).
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included. Additional changes may be requested at the cost of €12 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided;
- Electricity consumption (including air-con) is included up to 300kw and excess kw are charged on the basis of consumption at 40 cents per kw.
- Heating, if required, is payable on the basis of consumption of gas at €4.00 per m3.
- Kitchen gas and water costs are included. A cooking service is available for €350 plus the cost of food.
- High chairs and cots are available at an additional cost of € €50 per week
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
- Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;

At the centre of the town is the large Piazza del Campo, noted for the Palio horse race held each July and August and full of activity year round. An important university town, Siena has wonderful outdoor cafes, piazzas, churches and museums.
