Description Il Grillo is a dream holiday home that has recently burst onto the villa rental market. Constructed in 2008, the property is purpose made for the Veneto rental market and provides the best in creature comforts. It was designed by well-known local architects and specialist builders have managed to realise the dream of the owners. The bright, avant-garde design is complimented by designer furniture and no expense has been spared to provide guests with space, luminosity and top quality finishes. All of the bedrooms have direct access onto the 'S' curved wooden deck as do the kitchen, lounge and dining rooms. Outside the lounge room a large pergola provides daylong shade to an outdoor table where most groups choose to dine alfresco. The photos of this accommodation tell most of the story, however they cannot convey the beauty of the location or the wonderful outlook that the property offers. The lower swimming pool level provides one with the feeling of being in a lush forest and privacy is complete. The facilities of the house include air conditioning, fireplace, sauna, barbecue and satellite TV. Prices are for 4 guests (one bedroom/bathroom closed) and a supplement of €300 is payable for each additional guest (€100 for children)

Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of € 500.00 is payable on arrival at the property, in cash (euro) or double signed travellers' cheques. No other form of payment will be accepted. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: - Normal arrival times are between 15:00 (3:30pm) and 16:00 (4pm). Check out is by 10.00 on the day of departure.

- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late or Sunday arrivals. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager.

Susegana
A medium sized town of approximately 10,000 population on the Piave river amongst the undulating hills of the Treviso area (35km), Susegana's history dates back to the bronze age and features a rich history of Roman colonisation, Lombard invasions and Austrian occupation during the second world war. Around the town are a series of large castles for example the San Salvatore castle and the Colalto castle. Guests of the Tenuta del Barone will be lucky to be included on a guided tour of the Colalto Castle which is owned by the family that own the Tenuta. The area is central in the Veneto area having good access to Venice, the Prosecco hills, the Dolomite mountains (and Cortina).
