Description Opening from a quiet street, stairs lead to a large landing and the entrance to the apartment on the first floor. Inside the entrance is a large reception room leading through to the living room with a double divan bed, decorative antique fireplace (not used), several chairs and a large rug over the parquet floor. The room has two large windows which look over an internal courtyard and large open glass door that provide a light and airy feel to the apartment. A door leads through from the living room into a spacious double bedroom with four poster bed, robe with mirror front and a large window which provides good luminosity and a view over the courtyard. Off to one side is a door leading through to en-suite bathroom which is fitted with a shower (no bath) and has a large window opening to outside. The kitchen, adjacent to the entrance door, is spacious and well equipped with a 4 burner gas cook top, electric oven, refrigerator with freezer and a table and chairs for four guests. A large window taking up one wall provides plenty of light.

Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €450.00 is payable on arrival at the property (credit card authorisation). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: Normal arrival times are between 15:00 (3:00pm) and 19:30 (7:30 pm). Departure is by 10:00 on the day of departure. You will be met at the closest boat (Vaporetto) stop, unless you arrange a transfer in which event you will be met at the closest point to the apartment (please apply for water taxi prices) Services included and extras: - Final cleaning fees of €60.00 are not included in weekly rental and are payable locally.
- The price quoted is for occupancy in two. An additional supplement of €63 per person per week is payable for additional guests (the divan-bed in the lounge can sleep 2 guests)
- The consumption of electricity, gas and water is included in the apartment rental price
- Heating and air-conditioning use are included in weekly apartment rental prices
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking (usually €55 to 23:00 and €70 thereafter). Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 70.00 payable to the local manager;
- Baby cots can be requested and a supplement of €70 per stay is payable on arrival. Please note that linen is not provided for cots. Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager.
- Amongst our staff, we have some excellent cooks who are available to prepare home cooked meals in your apartment incorporating typical Venetian dishes. Costs are based on time and ingredients - please apply.

Away from the tourist crowds, the Dorsoduro precinct is an area to savour the Venetian life style at its best. Lovely open piazzas with vibrant cafes and trattorias, colouful buildings with the characteristic mix of Venetian architectura, and cosy small canals with countless bridges where you may even find a group of students gathering with a guitar in the early evening.
Castello
The eastern part of Venice after San Marco square is called Castello, and includes the area of the hospital through to the main exibit are of the Biennale. It is a popular position for traveller accommodation and has many points of interest worth visiting.
