What is provided in a villa rentalThere is always a fine line between what should and should not be provided in a private villa rental. Personal tastes, vermin, the practicality of cleaning and maintenance and the personal preferences of the owners. We have established some guidelines to assist you in planning your villa visit. These will be the least conditions to expect and the technical description and notes for each villa will note any deviations from these guidelines. Linen (towels, sheets, pillowcases, teatowels)All villas and apartments are provided with one clean set of towels, sheets, pillowcases and teatowels per week of accommodation. Some properties provide a mid week change and some offer it for an extra charge (usually €6 per person). Otherwise guests are free to wash linen using the washing machines provided should they require further changes during the week. We do not provide (unless stated in the villa notes): - Beach and swimming pool towels - Second bath towels Electrical AppliancesAll villas and apartments provide an iron, washing machine (may be shared in some apartments), toaster and kettle. 95% of properties provide also a hair dryer (refer to villa notes). Villa and apartment descriptions note the presence or otherwise of television, stereo and other entertainment appliances. Food and basic house suppliesDo not expect to find any supplies in the house. For the purposes of hygiene, control of vermin, cleanlines and initial impact, the cleaners usually do not leave any food behind. Sugar (attracts ants), salt (absorbs humidity), soap (personal) and half bottles of ketchup, vinegar, oil are usually removed to ensure that there is no risk of infection, vermin or distaste on the part of arriving guests. For the purposes of client convenience, we offer a food hamper service which will ensure that basic supplies and food are stocked into the villa for your arrival. Back
