On the ground floor is the suite at the disposition cottage, which is a romantic suite that includes a double and armchairs, and an ensuite with a shower and bathtub.

Because of its peaceful and unobstructed location, the outdoor grounds at Villa Tenuta Pomona offer guests a breathtaking view of Cortona's hillside. The spacious, stone-paved terrace is surrounded by lush vegetation and rows of olive trees. It also features a barbeque grill and wood barbecue oven. The 4 x 8 sqm swimming pool is located just a few stones away. It has sun chairs and sunbeds and can be reached from this spot.
The owners have restored the indoors of the villa with great care. They used high-quality materials to create a warm, stylish and contemporary home for their guests. The architecture is filled with glass windows that allow light to flood in, giving the space its brightness and luminosity. The main residence is made up of two stories connected by staircases, the second being a stunning stone staircase. The ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a dining hall and a spacious living room with sofas and satellite TV.
There is free WiFi Internet access available to all villa guests. A new set of towels and bed linens will be provided to guests as soon as they arrive. The hotel staff can provide you with baby cots for toddlers if you request them. For the convenience of guests, a semi-covered parking space is available in the hotel for their cars. There are some additional costs that guests will need to pay, such as final cleaning fees and the weekly tourist tax.
The villa offers stunning views of the Cortona hillsides, where olive trees and vegetation thrive. The five-star hotel's central location makes it easy to reach Cortona's historic center, which is just 2.5 km away. There are also public transport options available at the Camucia-Cortona station. There are many shops and services within 2 km, including restaurants, bars, supermarkets and even a tennis court.
Other places worth visiting include Lago Trasimeno, which is approximately 20 km away, and Arezzo, which is about 30 km. The Lake Trasimeno area is not only a wonderful vacation destination, but it also hosts one of the largest blues festivals in Europe. During the Trasimeno Blues Festival, great blues music and the natural and historical attractions of the region are combined. There are a number of other attractions to discover in the city of Arezzo, such as the Medici Fortress, the Cathedral, and the Roman Amphitheatre, which make an excellent day trip. There is still an authentic sense of the medieval community spirit that dominates Arezzo because of its rich history, art and architecture.
10/10A delightful property. Nice and remote with no near neighbours but a short 10 minute drive to Cortona for evening meals. Access road is very narrow but picturesque through olive groves. Accommodation is fantastic. Lovely comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, really good interior design with muted colours and simple finishes but very well executed. Back up from the Rent in Tuscany Team was excellent. Any problem and the response was very quick. Fantastic service! We’ve been twice as it’s so nice. Views are spectacular. Would highly recommend.
10/10Our stay at Tenuta Pomona was fantastic. The tastefully renovated villa with its fully equipped kitchen, cosy sitting place and spacious bed and bathrooms had everything to make us fully relax. The beautiful weather allowed us to enjoy the refreshing swimming pool and the different terraces, all of them with a magnificent view of Cortona, the Tenuta Pomona olive groves and the valley below. Cortona and its surroundings have a few very good restaurants where we enjoyed some great pure Italian food. In short, our Italian stay was absolutely fantastic.
