Het luxe appartement Art Hangar in Toscane is een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van de natuur. Deze loft onderscheidt zich van andere Toscaanse woningen. Het is omgebouwd van een industriële hangar. Dit appartement is voorzien van moderne esthetiek en iconische architectonische technieken. Je kunt genieten van het uitzicht op het kasteel van Montelifre en het nabijgelegen dorp Montisi, dat op slechts 2 km afstand ligt. De innovatie die leidde tot de creatie van Art Hangar is kilometers verderop te zien, ontworpen door Reinhold Traxl (Oostenrijkse beeldhouwer). Art Hangar heeft 2 slaapkamers met eigen badkamer, glazen muren die uitkijken over de natuur en een privézwembad. Het beschikt ook over een wijnkelder. Voor de ultieme vakantie-ervaring heb je toegang tot een sauna en een terras in een omgebouwde zeecontainer.
Art Hangar biedt een unieke vakantie-ervaring. Het is niet alleen luxueus en comfortabel, maar ook met veel smaak gemaakt. Elke hoek heeft wel iets te bieden. Dit zijn de 2 slaapkamers. U vindt er voldoende ruimte voor uw spullen, werk of om u 's ochtends klaar te maken met de kingsize bedden en het natuurstenen gebogen bureau/tafel dat langs de muur loopt. Deze kamers hebben dakramen, waardoor er veel licht in de ruimte valt op een rustige, bijna magische manier. De warme verlichting wordt goed aangevuld door het witte interieur. Elke kamer heeft een eigen badkamer met moderne voorzieningen, waaronder een douche.

Het verwarmde zwembad van Art Hangar strekt zich uit tot aan de rand van een bos, waardoor een unieke zwemervaring ontstaat. De weelderige villatuin en bomen omringen het zwembad, waardoor het een mooie en verfrissende omgeving is. U kunt ontspannen op de ligstoelen bij het zwembad en lezen, zonnen of een dutje doen. De tuin ziet er nog mooier uit als er sneeuw ligt. U kunt van het uitzicht genieten vanaf het overdekte terras, het zwembad of een houten hut met een paar stoelen. Voor heerlijke buitenmaaltijden zijn er een houten picknicktafel en bankjes onder de overkapping.
Stap binnen in de moderne woonkamer om het prachtige interieur, het ontwerp en de architectuur van Art Hangar te bekijken. Deze klassieke loftruimte heeft betongrijze vloeren en industriële plafonds. De grijze muren zijn verweerd. De glazen deuren openen naar buiten en bieden een panoramisch uitzicht op het omringende landschap. De woonkamer is ingericht met leren banken en rode bonenstoelen. Een centrale open haard heeft een trechtervormige schoorsteen. Moderne staande lampen creëren een leeshoek met de toevoeging van loungestoelen verspreid over de kamer. Het woongedeelte is ruim en open, waardoor het een grote ruimte is waar u kunt eten, ontspannen en koken. De kamer is gemakkelijk toegankelijk vanuit de tuin, dus het is gemakkelijk om in en uit te stappen. De keuken is elegant en niet overweldigend met moderne voorzieningen. Het eetgedeelte is eenvoudig met zwarte tafels en gaasstoelen. Dankzij de glazen deuren krijgt de kamer veel zon en frisse lucht.

Art Hangar heeft alles voor een onvergetelijke vakantie. Alles is gedekt, van een spa tot een sauna, tot personeelsdiensten die uw verblijf onvergetelijk maken. Eigen spabehandelingen en massages zijn ook beschikbaar.
Montisi is een geweldige plek om het authentieke Toscaanse leven te ervaren. In Montisi kun je de hele Italiaanse ervaring beleven in een pittoresk dorpje, hoog op een heuvel met uitzicht op olijfbomen, cipressen, wijngaarden en het adembenemende landschap van Zuid-Toscane. Je vindt hier een verscheidenheid aan activiteiten en leuke plekken om te overnachten, samen met een handvol winkels en restaurants. Er zijn veel cafés en winkeltjes in de buurt, maar ook leuke restaurantjes waar je kunt genieten van heerlijke lokale gerechten. Om het meeste uit je vakantie te halen, kun je dagtochten maken naar nabijgelegen steden zoals Montalcino en Siena.
10/10The Art Hangar is simply one of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. We understand that the building was formerly an auto repair shop and then a clay pigeon factory. The renovation, done by the owners Is stunning. The main living space is large and has huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The furnishings are very stylish and really comfortable. The kitchen is large, beautiful, fully stocked, and completely functional. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is so much more beautiful in person. We arrived at night, after a long flight delay. Johny and Rita (and Minnie, their delightfully friendly dog) were waiting for us - they live next door. They had a fire going in the beautiful fireplace. They had stocked the fridge and pantry with essentials from a list we’d sent them. They had a gourmet pasta and sauce waiting in case we were hungry. A quick orientation and they left us to grab a snack and to sleep off the jet lag. We were not prepared for what we saw the next morning in daylight. The property is stunning. Looking out one set of windows, on a hilltop, are the ruins of castle. Out the other set of windows, a Tuscan hillside. The property is dotted with eclectic art installations. A few hundred feet away - an incredible and huge pool visible on sattelite images of the place. We did not use it (it was December) but owner Rita swears she swims there every day! There are two bedrooms that are very comfortable. The place could easily and comfortably house two couples, but we were delighted to have the place to ourselves. Johny and Rita are always available to help in anyway, but are otherwise unobtrusive. You’ll have all the privacy you want. The property is on the edge of Montisi, a charming, tiny village with one of the best restaurants we’ve been to (Il Barrino). From here, incredible scenic drives and all of the key Tuscan sights are an easy drive. On the final night, Rita prepared for us a gourmet dinner right here on the property, accompanied by wine from their personal cellar. Rita owned a restaurant for 30 years and the meal was a beautiful way to finish our Art Hangar experience. One of the best dinners we had in Tuscany, accompanied by the company of our gracious hosts Honestly, we can not recommend this spot highly enough. If you want to stay in Tuscany, make this your home away from home! Grazie, Johny and Rita!
10/10We were more than happy to spend one week in the stunning location ARTHANGAR. Johny & Rita were super friendly and helpful at any time. The Hangar is comfortable, stylish and cozy at the same time. The garden and the pool is a piece of art. Everything was clean and in very good conditions. we would love to come back as soon as possible
9.6/10The house is really extraordinary. A lot of space. Very tastefully furnished. The peace and the beautiful view, no matter where you look. To use the pool is simply important. Try to enjoy the view and the atmosphere. The communication with Rita and Johny is pleasant. A place to fall in love.
10/10Johny and Rita are lovely. The location was perfect--incredible! They made us feel right at home. We were traveling with our newborn and they made everything perfect for us and cooked us dinner and helped with groceries which made our trip amazing!

10/10In a perfect location, surrounded by the hills of Tuscany you only imagined existed in films, our family had a very pleasant stay in the modern, fresh, tastefully decorated hangar of the helpful owners Johny and Rita. We will most certainly come again!
10/10Beautiful loft, very tastefully and trendy furnished, very nice sanitary facilities with a nice outdoor shower, pleasant air conditioning in the bedrooms. Located on a spacious and pleasant private property with, last but not least, a phenomenal swimming pool!! In short, the perfect location as a "base" to visit a few things in beautiful Tuscany, but above all to relax! We will be back in 2018!
