Villa La Lestra

Our whole family, from my 82-year-old mother to my 9-year-old daughter, loved our stay at Villa Lestra. We loved the entire property, from the park to the house itself. The whole space was beautiful!

Off the beaten path in the Tuscan region of Peccioli, you can expect privacy and tranquility in this beautifully designed Tuscan-style villa. Francesco was an excellent host. He provided a clean house with a well-stocked fridge (water, beer, champagne), a welcome basket (pasta, sauces, crackers, jelly, butter, etc.), and firewood for the fireplace. Thank you for everything!

The villa is beautiful, clean, and perfect for a large family or a group of friends (4 completely independent bedrooms with private bathrooms). The location is good, although it takes 20 minutes to reach Peccioli, but within 40 minutes you can get to San Gimignano, Pisa, Volterra… Francesco is an excellent host and was very helpful during our stay (he even brought us milk for cooking on New Year's Eve!). Highly recommended!

The house is entirely for you, with only one neighbor — an agriturismo. The area is very well maintained. There are many nice spots to relax. The pool is 15 meters away. Every two days, two lovely ladies come to check the outdoor area. All 4 bedrooms are equivalent, each with an en-suite bathroom and a good shower with strong water pressure. The kitchen is well equipped (with a gas stove). We cooked and grilled a lot (charcoal grill). At reception, we received a generous welcome basket and local wine, which was very good. We felt very comfortable and at ease! Highly recommended!

Decidedly beautiful villa, modern and yet typical! The garden with barbecue and swimming pool was of course the highlight for us. You don't have to drive far to find good little restaurants with excellent food. You can take the house fabulously as a starting point, actually to explore the whole of Tuscany. The landscape, like everywhere else in Tuscany, is stunningly beautiful! Thank you for the hospitality!

We were a party of 8 (four couples) and this Villa was fantastic!! It exceeded our expectations. The photos represent the villa perfectly. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. Appliances worked very well. We loved sitting out by the pool in the evening. We had everything that we needed. All the villa staffs were very helpful and arranged a wonderful dinner for us at a local restaurant. It was situated very well for day trips to Pisa, Firenze, Volterra, San Gimi, Sienna etc. Save time to enjoy this property though!

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Lestra! The villa itself is beautiful with everything you need. The outside area is perfect with a separate barbeque area and plenty of areas to relax. The pool is large with comfy sunbeds and pool towels included. the wonderful Diletta who is the receptionist was also always there to help, she booked our restaurant reservations as well as our wine tasting tour. Diletta is so helpful, and it was hugely reassuring to know she was on hand to help with anything we needed. The hotel next door to the villa, has a pizza night once a week which you can attend (for a reasonable cost) which is lovely with lots of great food and drink! Another huge bonus for us was that we could get fresh baked goods delivered every morning from the local bakery at a time to suit you (we just messaged them the day before). All in all, we had an amazing time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!
